New Vlog: Downhill

If you caught my blog post about the skiing poem ‘Downhill’ I recently wrote, you will know I intended to record the vlog of me reading the poem on top of a mountain, but ran out of time on the recent school trip I was on. I have still released the poem, and here is the vlog post. Sorry, you’ll just have to watch me in my own home! New Poem: Downhill

Well, Christmas is done and we are heading into the new year. Before we get to the good old review blog post, I thought I would sneak in another poem for you. I still have a few ready to go, but rather than pop one of those up I went and wrote a brand new one. Just before Christmas I had a week skiing; no I am not a rich person, it was the ski trip for the school I work at and I managed to get myself on it. I’ve got to say, skiing is awesome and if it did not cost so much I would go regularly. Anyhow, I wanted to record a vlog on location so decided what better way than to do it up a mountain, therefore I needed a poem and ‘Downhill’ was born. Unfortunately, I was so busy I never got time to record it whilst away. However, the poem still exists so I thought I may as well post it here. Downhill

Atop the mountain

The view stunning

Down below the snow glistens

But how to get down?

I know, I’ll strap two planks to my feet

What could possibly go wrong?
